Palletcentrale, a household name for 54 years in pallet purchasing, sales, repair and manufacturing, has been acquired by Belgian industry peer Foresco Group. With the acquisition, Foresco, a portfolio company of Dynamica, strengthens its position in the European market.
Palletcentrale
The company was founded in 1969 by collecting pallets in the Rotterdam harbors, then sorting them and returning them to producers of various goods. Continued growth soon led to an increase in the number of locations, today Palletcentrale operates with 30 trucks from 6 locations including a production site. With a revenue of over €80 million, Palletcentrale is the Dutch market leader in pallets for the medium and large business market.

Foresco
Foresco has been part of the Belgian investment vehicle of Jan Ponnet and Cedric de Quinnemar since 2009. The company is the market leader in the Benelux, producing 80,000 and handling 70,000 pallets per day. Additionally, Foresco is a specialist in packaging, with 24,000m² of packaging produced daily. By acquiring Palletcentrale, Foresco further implements its strategy to be as close as possible to its customers in Flanders and the Netherlands through strong, modern locations. The acquisition also strengthens Foresco’s sustainability profile by taking on the leading position of Palletcentrale.
