The shareholders of Koekela are selling their shareholdings in Koekela B.V., Koekela Rotterdam B.V., and Koekela Den Haag B.V. IRIS CF acted as sell-side advisor to the shareholders.

Koekela specializes in pastries with American influences, such as cheesecakes, carrot cakes, brownies, and bars, establishing a strong market position in both the Rotterdam B2C and B2B markets. Koekela is known for its honest and high-quality products, free from artificial fragrances and colors. In July 2020, Koekela opened a second location on Laan van Nieuw Oost-Indië in The Hague.
